The island is accessible from the capital Malé by seaplane (approx. 75 minutes) or by plane to the local airport on Hanimaadhoo Island (approx. 50 minutes) and from there by boat directly to the destination.
On the island is located the JA Manafaru Maldives 5* hotel resort which was awarded as one of the best beach resorts in the Maldives. The island provides several categories of accommodation, from luxury beach and water villas with 1 and 2 bedrooms and an area of 135 to 400 m² to large two-storey residences with 2 and 3 bedrooms and an area of up to 2,000 m².
