Ing. Jana Štefánková - Company Founder

Jana Štefánková, known as a presenter in the Czech Republic, among other things, is now a successful entrepreneur on the real estate market, specialising in exotic Indian Ocean destinations. She is also a prominent personality in the field of Dining Etiquette and Business Etiquette. At the same time, she holds the respected office of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles in the Czech Republic.

Jana Štefánková already started building her career at high school when she began working as a model. In 1994, she left to study English at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, where she first encountered a course on Dining Etiquette and promised herself that she would create a similar project in the Czech Republic.

After a year in the US, she moved to the Seychelles Islands, where she began to acquire in-depth knowledge of the local environment. There she collaborated with the organising committee of the Miss World contest which was held in the Seychelles in 1997 and 1998. She gained valuable experience in the organisation of this very important social event. At the same time, she worked for the Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles, where she learnt the rules of diplomatic protocol, amongst other things. She travelled the world for several years during this work and personally participated in prestigious social events.

In 1999, she briefly returned to the Czech Republic where she won a challenging audition to present a successful television talk show, broadcast by TV Nova. As moderator of social events and press conferences, she takes advantage of her experience of working in front of a camera, the art of communicating with people and the language skills gained during her stays abroad. She previously also worked with the Jordan F1 team and, thanks to this collaboration, again travelled the world to attend top social events.

In 2009 she passed the State final examination at the Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague, obtaining the title of Ing. At the same time, she began to devote herself more to real estate activities in connection with the unique residential projects recently created in the Seychelles and Mauritius.

By the establishment of Bling-Bling company, Jana puts all her entrepreneurial interests under one umbrella. To this project, she contributes the know-how supported by many years' experience in the media, social and diplomatic spheres, as well as knowledge gained at university and experience gained during more than 20 years of activities in the Indian Ocean region.

On 5th July 2016, Jana Štefánková was officially appointed by the President of Seychelles, James Alix Michel, to the very prestigious office of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles in the Czech Republic.

 

Mgr. Zuzana Havlová - Company Director

Zuzana Havlová is the Director of Bling-Bling s.r.o. where she also manages the Advisory and Consulting Services in the Area of Fine Art, which includes the mediation of purchases of outstanding works of art.

Zuzana Havlová has been engaged in the History of Art since Grammar School where she began her studies in this field. After studying at a State Language School and passing the State Exam in German, she was accepted to the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in the Management of Fine Arts, also passing the State Exam in the History of Art, Culture, Visual Art Techniques and Antiquities. She continued her studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of West Bohemia, obtaining a Master's degree in European Cultural Studies. She again successfully passed the final State Exam in the History of European Culture, and in the History of European Art and Philosophy. She gained specific knowledge during the practical part of her studies at the University Gallery and the Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Her later experience included travel to various museums and galleries, and, last but not least, long-term collaboration with renowned auction houses, galleries and experts in Czech and international Fine Art.

Since 2004, Mrs Havlová has been living permanently in Prague. She first worked in the Editorial Department of a prestigious magazine and also devoted herself to Marketing, PR and Production. She currently provides advisory and consulting services in the area of Fine Arts, especially in the selection of quality works of art, elaboration of art and historical analyses and expert research. She also offers professional assistance in the evaluation of art objects, including mediation of their purchase, and representation at Fine Art auctions. At all times, absolute client confidentiality is maintained. Zuzana Havlová makes good use of all her knowledge and experience in the Bling-Bling company in which she has been employed since 2009.

 

Ing. Božena Fialková - professional lecturer

Between 1977 and 1988, Božena Fialková worked in Interhotel Transit. From 1989 she was employed by the Secondary Hotel School in Prague and subsequently at the First Private Hotel School in Prague. In 1997 she became a Professor at the Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague, where she lectured in the Department of Hotel Management on courses in Gastronomy, Beverages, Etiquette and Social Sciences.

She has constantly updated her education by participating in professional training courses: Bartending course (the First Czech Bartender's Academy in Pilsen, CBA 1998); Sommelier course (Kadet, 1996); Sommelier course (Association of Sommeliers of the Czech Republic, 2002); International Degusting Exam (Klosterneuburg, Normen nach DIN, ÖNORM und ISO, Vlatice, 2004); Basics of Quality Management and Environment (Citellius, 2008); Quality Manager (Citellius, 2008); “Tourism for All“ seminar (University of Economics in Prague, 2008); Authorisation granted by the Ministry of Regional Development for the qualification of Sommelier and Work in an Accommodation Facility (2008).

Furthermore, she also devotes herself to publishing ("Oenology and Professional Degustation" specialised journals and textbooks) and lecturing (training seminars for hotel and restaurant employees, Sommelier courses for the Slovak Association of Sommeliers and for Sommeliers in the Czech Republic) activities. She provides professional advisory and consulting services to hotels and restaurants and also collaborates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Diplomatic Academy).
